Puddle Ducks account overview design

The challenge

Puddle Ducks runs swimming lessons for babies and children through local teams across the UK, and parents manage their lessons through My Account.

We designed the account area around the things parents do most: checking upcoming lessons, letting their local team know about absences, keeping payments up to date and getting help when they need it. We then built the front end, and the Puddle Ducks back-end developers plugged it into their systems.

What we did

  1. An overview that answers the common questions

The new overview shows each child's scheduled lessons, with courtesy classes, next classes and free trials marked, alongside upcoming payments and the local team's contact details.

  2. Self-service for everyday tasks

Parents can tell their team they can't attend, book courtesy classes, check pool holiday dates, update card details and redeem gift vouchers without picking up the phone.

  3. Simpler sign-in and support

A cleaner sign-in and password reset, a short video on using the account like an app, and guides, help and member offers close to hand.
